    Geforce 2mx 400

I have a P III 800, Win 98se, 512 Mb ram, with a Gladiac 511 GeForce 2mx 400 64Mb ram using 2311 drivers. I can't get a frame rate above 1350 using 3D Mark 2001. I have tried everything but playing most games is hopeless. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is unplayable when the screen is busy. I have this game installed on a P II 400, Win 98se, 512Mb ram with a Geforce 2 mx200 32Mb ram and it flies.. Can anyone suggest the reason for this slow frame rate? Thanks

One thing to try is check in bios if the video is set for AGP and at what configuration (i.e. 1x, 2x, or 4x). You also might need to download new AGP drivers for you motherboard. I had the same problem as you're having and the motherboard drivers fixed it right up. Maybe these help but if not keep checking back. Luck.
I'm unique just like everyone else.
