    new 4in1 and 3dmark2001

I installed the new 4 and 1 (4.36) and since then, my 3dmark2001 scores dropped by 500 points.

I system restored to the previous point (winXp). I made a system restore point just before installing 4 and 1 just to be sure. But after reverting, my 3dmark score is still 500 points from what it should be.

So whats wrong here? I guess the 4 and 1 (4.36) are still there.

I tried the 4.35, but with no luck either.

    System specs

    Win Xp Pro
    T-bird 1.33
    GeForce 2 GTS 32ddr
    SBlive value
    Abit KG-7

    My score before the 4 and 1 = 3634
    current score = 3161

both scores are using the official 23.11 drivers

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I used the 4in1 4.34 and the 4.36 with no problems. My problems came with the 23.11 drivers.

I went back to 21.88 and my system runs fine. The 4.36 drivers are a little faster than the 4.34.

I think i found my problem.

I noticed that my computer was using about 10% of CPU power when doing absolutely nothing. I noticed when I unpluged my 2 gravis gamepad pros (wich i only recently plugged in) out of my sblive live gameport, CPU usage went to normal.

I ran 3dmark2001, and now i have the best score i ever had (3815)

Does anyone know why the gamepads would do this?
