    how do you bench mark your pc??

    hi,

    im really dumb and new to this thing but i have a 1ghz that says its a 750mhz and i want to benchmark my so i can see if im despiratly needing to get my 1ghz running!

    SiSoft Sandra will benchmark your PC including CPU/FPU/RAM/HDD.

    But if your problem is CPU frequency, you gotta check in BIOS or the FSB jumpers, I suspect you're running CPU with 133MHz FSB at 100MHz FSB only :
    133x7.5=1000
    100x7.5=750
