    What should this really be

Hey, ive just recently upgraded from an athlon 850 100mhz system bus to a athlon xp 1500+. I used to get about 2100 on my 3dmark scores, which was reasonable. but after i installed my new processor and tripled my ram to 384, it still goes about 2200. i found the problem to be that my board needs a new bios revision to support the new processor, and im in the process of doing that. until then im running at only 1 ghz on a 100mhz fsb off of my XP. could anyone give me an idea of what kinda scores ill get with this configuration.....

FIC AD11 mobo with 200/266 fsb
    AMD Athlon XP 1500+
    384 mb ddr pc2100 ram
45 gb IBM deskstar hard drive ata100
    soundblaster x-gamer 5.1 dolby digital
    ATI Radeon 64mb ddr VIVO
    windows 2000 professional
    16x/40x dvd rom

also, would a trash monitor actually affect how fast my computer can run. i thought that if the refresh rate was garbage, it affects the computer, but what does it really do

A trash monitor will trash your vision for sure. And since new eyeballs are hard to come by nowadays, GET THE BEST FRIGGEN MONITOR YOU CAN AFFORD! I'm serious, I had been using an LCD screen for the past 3 years and have now "upgraded"(yeah right) to a 19" Sylvania F97 (NOT the best monitor, but for 200 US dollars). So now my eyes are constantly FRIED! I can't take this **** anymore. I'm doing 85Hz at 1024x768x32bit (GeForce2Pro64mb), but the radiation is killing me. Anyways, the Athlon 1500+ runs at 1.3MHz, right? Something like that. Does the AD11 even support your new processor?? Probably does, otherwise you wouldn't have bought the new processor... You're on the right track with a new BIOS. I increased my scores just by enabling 4-bank memory interleaving. Who'd have thought.
