Netscape 6.2 bookmarks
I just installed Netscape 6.2 on my Win98 (4.10.1998) system. Version 4.5 was fine except it wouldn't load the latest Prodigy homepage. The new version of Netscape is fine in this regard, I only have one issue with it so far.
I don't like the way it displays bookmarks when you have a lot of them in one folder. It puts a scroll arrow at the bottom of the screen instead of spreading the bookmarks over two columns.
(see attachment bookmark62)
Above is way the bookmarks have the scroll arrow at the bottom (and the top) of the screen in Netscape 6.2. This also seems to be the way they are displayed on my system in Outlook Express 5.0 on my system, but I don't have that many Favorites for it to be an issue. Below is how they are displayed in Netscape 4.5.
(see attachment bookmark45)
The font seems a little smaller but more importantly the bookmark folders and their contents are displayed in adjacent columns when necessary instead of having the scroll arrows at the top and bottom of the screen. Does anyone know how to get the bookmarks in Netscape 6.2 (and OE 5.0 to be displayed) in the format used by Netscape 4.5. That is, without the scroll arrows which i hate.
Thank You,

Just as in Windows, there's likely a setting among the configuration options that will turn off the personalized menus.

If there is a setting for it, I haven't found it yet.
