    Adding OS to XP Boot Menu- Please Help!

    I need some help getting windows me and xp to multiboot.
    I have windows xp installed on my primary master, and windows me installed on my secondary master.
    I want to be able to add the option to boot windows me in the boot menu. I know that this requires adding a line to the boot.ini file. However, i have tried this several times now without success. Can somebody please help me out and tell me what it is that I need to add here?

    This is my current boot.ini file:

    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

    Thanks in advance

    If your NT partition is NTFS you can't do it, and you'll have to continue to boot ME from BIOS selection, as you're likely doing now. If NT partition is FAT32 you can do it by adding the appropriate line to boot.ini, copying the ME (DOS) boot files to C:\, editing paths section of msdos.sys to point to ME's new drive letter (what it would be would depend on your hard drives' partitioning), and getting the bootsect.dos file onto C:\ . Might be simpler to leave things as they are.
