Strat,
I updated the driver for my voodoo card and managed to get up to a score of 2010 on 3Dmark 2001se, which was overclocked at 195MHz (default was 166 vs 144 on the old driver. Still not at the 2500 of your card.
My Geforce card is priced at US$155. and perhaps the best value vs performance for your dollar.

lafrentz -
depends... you should post some benchmarks on here then compare with everyone elses.
Also, other factors will affect your system speed such as HD interface and what type of Geforce 3 you're using

I ran a benchmarrk with 3d mark 2001 and got 8400 or something real close. I dont run an mx video card if you are wondering. I have 4 computers and none of them run Mx video cards. I am kind of stuck on Intel, I have ran AMD but have almost always ran into problems. I dont want to spend more time fixing a machine I want to use it.
My machine
Intel 850mv
processor P4 2.0a
Memory 512mb Rambus
leadtek GeForce3
hard drive 40gb IBM gxp
ata 66 dvd
Acer 16x cdrw
ATI TV wonder

Phahaha...
You're running XP...I'm on Win2k, and XP Pro is in the mail on the way to me...I'll be back on top...stay tuned.
Did you know the OS difference is at least a 10% difference...I'll be in the 11-12k range when I get it installed...plus I haven't even ran SiSoftware Sandra Professional, comparing configurations...I would say don't count your chickens before they hatch.
Tip: Don't quote yourself...even when it's to prove a point...no pride in that.
