... And the fastest computer here is, if I was in the year 1990, but since I'm not .... Bringing up the rear :

    Duron 650Mhz (6.5*100)
    Gigabyte 7ZM (KT133)
    Geforce2 Ti
    384 SDRAM PC-133

Well at least this system is still reliable for me

    Don't lie

My score was 2500 on an OC'ed xp1800+ and the new ABIT KR7A-133 RAID mobo with 256 DDR RAM and 32MB DDR graphics OC'ed the max (has its own fan....an old p133 heatsink clip-on fan clipped onto the side of the card). The only thing i dont have that is amazing is my master HDD, it is 10gb ata66, but my slave is 120gb ata133.
The only way i can explain this is that some people are lying.

    Strat,

With the system you have your score is clearly wrong. check out the posted scores at Madonion and you will see what I mean. My score is quite low to many projects posted at Mad Onion.

Strat you must have some drivers wrong or somthin.

Plus why did you put the ata 66 as master?

Don't mess with my beast of a computer, Heres the specs:

    P133 (w/ MMX no less )
    32 MB FP RAM (4 x 8 MB SIMMS)
    ST51080A 1080MB Hard Drive (Fast-ATA-2 - See? FAST!!!!)
    2x CD-ROM
    S3 Trident 4MB PCI (I think it's actually the Trident 3D!!)

    And here's the kicker:
    Linksys LNE100TX v4.1 10/100 NIC PCI
    3Com 3C905C-TX-NM 10/100 NIC PCI

and RH 7.2 running squid, samba, dhcpd, gated, routed, and vnc_server among others. No X. That's my Gateway/router ...You didn't think I actually tried to game on that, did you?

    Well guys,

WyneD: What could be wrong with it ??

Gib: I installed all the drivers for the new mobo hardware found straight form the CD i got with my mobo I put the 66 as master because it's only 10GB, I wanted to keep all the installed ****e (all the slack) on that one. The other is 120GB and I wanted to keep that for purely storage......

    Strata,

Sorry I didn't take note of your video card which looks like it may be a PCI 32MB card, which as you will note above is a distance from the AGP 64MB cards on the site I have attached at Madonion. I inserted your processor speed for the AMD 1800 as 1533MHz which is the stock speed without any form of overclocking.

In my case I am running a GForce Ti 200 AGP card o/c to 220MHz of Core Clock Freq and 500MHz of Memory Clock Frequency on my new mobo which is a Asus A7M266 and an AMD 1.4 o/c to 1.575 and now have a 3DMark 2001SE of 7458. This score compared to others running the ATI 8500 continues to compare poorly, as it does to those running a GForce Ti 300 AGP so no need to feel bad.

My other system as noted earlier on in this forum now runs a Voodoo 3000 o/c to 200MHz, I will just for fun run the 3Dmark on this system and post the results once complete. That system has a Asus A7V-E mobo with an AMD 1.2 o/c 1.4.

Bottom line is given your graphics card the score may be as good as it gets.

    need 3Dmark 2001 scores
    QUOTE
Who has the fastest PC here? I need 3Dmark2001 scores, CPUmark tests, and Sandra 2001 results for the HD, Mem, and CPU Benchmark. Oc'ed PC's are just as welcome as non oc'ed (although the oc'ed are going to win ).
Boy a lot of name dropping, bragging going on here! Dueley this, SCSI that. On a Tyan motherboard? Where's the numbers? All sounds pretty, But for those of us reading and wondering what is a fast setup, it means nothing! Go the next step and Bencmark it.

    Strat,

My 3DmarkSE score on the Asus 1.4o/c with the Voodoo card at the default speed (no o/c) was only 1521. I tried o/c the card but 3Dmark would not complete.

This should make you feel better about your card, but as you see the Video card appears to be your bottleneck not the system.

    My card is an

    ATI AGP 7000 32MB DDR.
Is this why my score on 3DMark2001 is only 2243 ?

Should i get a nice geforce3 ti200 (thats the best one i can afford for the prices of the cards ive seen)
