    AMD-Si-Soft Concern

I recently put together an AMD system - 1.4ghz, 830lmr (I know PcChips - I was on a budget) The system runs fine and benchmarks at the top end, however Si-Soft warns the chipset isn't designed to handle the FSB at 133, if I lower the FSB the system reports the chip at 650mhz. Any thoughts, should I be concerned? Temp seems stable around 77 F or so. 256Mb DDR
(wasn't sure which forum was most appropriate)

Went to PCchips site, didn't see any model 830lmr. Closest I found was M830LR.

If your board IS the M830LR the problem is that the FSB is TOO LOW not TOO HIGH. The M830LR supports AMD K7 Athlon/Duron 500M~1.4GHz CPUs with bus frequency at 200/266MHz.

    Hope this helps.
