Nope Surreal, not much chance of them scheduling one in "Your home beneath the big red mountain" I got an email from AMD talking about the Fall 2001 Team AMD Tech Tour - is that the same thing? Its going to be in Phoenix on Thursday, October 18th. That's the closest it will get to here.

Yeah, guys... they will be in Seattle, in just a couple of days. They say on the site to check in at certain times, one of which is tomorrow, and that coincides with Seattle as the next date on the list... So my speculation is we need to be there at 6:00 am on Friday, the 12th. Woohoo! I don't work! but I live 4 hours away ( going very fast indeed...) They also state on the site that tey will be expanding to add an additional 15 cities, but don't mention dates or locations at all. Maybe they'll come to Portland...

So, what do they have against Florida, et al? I can't imagine what law it is that they would say it is illegal here.

Don't feel bad Surreal -- Due to the number of cities, I suspect they'll only be major cities and the closes city to me is Portland - 5 hour drive!
Kabuki -- At least you've got a chance at Seattle!!
