    3dmark 2001 questions

Does it effect my score if i only ran the first 4 game tests? Because whenever i try to run the whole test, after the bumpmapping test 3dmark gives me a error about being out of memory. Even though i have 512mb ddr, nothing running, and a dedicated partition for swap files thats 1gb.

Tech Dude, What do you have the AGP Aperture set at in the BIOS? I had trouble if I had it set at anything other than 64mb. Hope it helps.

Set the Aperture size to the half of your system memory, 256MB, in your case. Let Windows manage the swap file.
More info about your system would be more helpful.

    Best Regards ...

Techdude, I have a gforce3 also and I got better scores setting mine at 64. I have 512megs of 166mhz infineon and I got better sores and less trouble at 64.
You have 64megs of 3.8ns ddr mem on your card how much do you think the card is accessing sys. mem?
