I need a new video card. I dont wanna spend for than about $160 on one. I am mostly looking for the most bang for the buck. I was thinking about a geforce2 pro, then i got to looking at the new radeons and then the kyro II and then had no idea what i wanted. Any suggestions. Just remember i and looking for the most bang for the buck. I mostly play CS, QuakeIII, Unreal Tour., and still have power to spare for all the games that havent come out yet.
Specs:
Abit KT7A
1.2@1.4
256 RAM
20gig 7200
Geforce2mx 400
W2K Pro Sp2

Well. I like the GForce cards but the kyro cards are getting pretty good reviews.

why dont you get the geforce 3 ti200. Its faster the geforce 2 and only slightly slower than the regular geforce3, and its very cheap. It sells for $182 at newegg.com . Worth a look if you can scrape together a few extra bucks.

If you want speed, then you should go with a new GeForce titanium. The 200ti is extremely cheap and it is very fast (faster than everything out there -- Radeon, Kyro, GeForce 2 series, etc.). If you want good speed but great visual quality and other cool features then go with a Radeon!
If you plan to edit videos and whatnots, the All in Wonder Radeon is priced very nice!

Well I'd definitely recommend saving for a GF3 Ti200.....but if u can't I think u would be happy with a KYROII. Not many features but with that cpu it'll offer excellent 32bit performance at highresolutions. With great visual clarity.
