Help!!! Volume controls change with every restart.
Windows 98SE
A7a266 w onboard audio
For the last few days I have noticed that after I shut down or restart, my volume controls don't want to stay the same. It is annoying because the CD Audio is being muted every time after I turn windows back on.
Any advice welcom...

Get into your Add/Remove Programs of the Control Panel and Windows Setup tab. Double click on Multimedia and take the check out of Volume Control.
Restart your machine and then go put it back in.
That's where I would start.
Cheers!

Thanks for the advice,
The volume is still changing. Too bad win 98SE isn't like ME where you can go back in the settings that worked..
