Bootup Problem?
I recently started having a problem with my system on startup. When I turn on the computer it has sort of an erratic clicking noise after it counts up the memory, off and on until it gets into Windows95. Once in Win95 it keeps giving me a windows tone like when a download is complete. I hit ctrl-alt-del then cancel and it stops. Everything seems to work fine after that. If I just restart the computer without shutting it down it does not do this. Prior to this problem I had just downloaded and installed a Win95 Y2K fix, a Norton2000 BIOS test/fix and a game demo. My ststem is a CTX brand with an AMD K6-233 with 64MB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
