    GeForce 2 Ultra...Best drivers?

    Ok, so correct me if Im wrong....Download latest drivers and speed/performance will increase right? Wrong.

    Just downloaded Nvidias new XP 21.81 drivers for win98 and also Via's 4 in 1433....now lost about 100 points from 3d2001..

    Any ideas for best combination of drivers?

    Check the settings !!

    Whenever you install a new driver it resets the values for Anti-Aliasing, Mip-Mapping and so on - change those values through the advanced settings in the Display control panel (for DirectX and OpenGL) and your peformance should improve.
