    Writing a .bat file PLEASE HELP

    Please help me, I have 1 day till my deadline........
    I found this forum out of pure desperation. I am making a CD using Flash and after doing a lot of work under the assumption that I could open pdf files with a link........( this may sound stupid but I'm usually a web developer).
    So I looked at <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/fscommand_projectors.htm#Exec">macromedia.com (the creator of flash) and it said that I would need a .bat file on my cd to do this?????</a> What the?? Please people help me!!!

    I need to make a simple .bat file that just opens any one of four PDF files stored on the cd???

    Please can someone put me right..............

    regards
    Alex

    RIGHT!?!? A web developer that can't write a *.bat file is like a bus driver that can't drive a car.

    Let's assume (BIG assumption) that you can create an ASCII text file and save as "shameful.bat". The link shows how to 'exec' the batch file. Hint, you need to replace "path" with the actually path.

    ===================
    @echo off
    call "path"AcroRd32.exe
    REM can't member, exit or quit will close DOS box....try both...
    exit
    quit
    ===================

    I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine how to pass the PDF file to Acrobat, wink, wink...
