By being "not pretty" are you saying "unstable" cause I can go higher and get it to post but it doesn't want to defrag and some other things i do from time to time. and my Mobo is a little older, I don't know where to find the multiplier in the BIOS.

You mite not have it available in the BIOS. Check your mobo for jumpers, they are probably there somewhere along with a tiny diagram showing the different settings. By not pretty, I mean, 3Dmark2001SE runs all the way through, but 158 is nearly 20% over 133, which can't be good for the agp and pci bus.

This is with 3DMark tweaked to show how I play my games, which is everything set at 16-bit, but maxed everything else:

Thanks X51, I have other machines to fall back on, but none as good as this one and I won't have upgrade money for a good while. I will be all new when I do and have this for a backup, but until AMD actually puts out stock clock 3.0 Gig CPU's I'll not get to excited, the Warden just won't budge on her budjet till then.
7027 for a 3D score is okay for a web machine.

Pandaz3, 151 is pretty high. On a normal day to day basis, I run it all at default. I just push it once in a while when I start feelin crazy. But I've had my share of blue screens and lockups and windows no-loads when oc'ing. Fortunately, I've haven't smoked any hardware yet... And I used to get 4200 on this very same machine with a GeForce2Pro and I thought THAT was smooth.

AMD Athlon 1.2ghz
256mb Ram (DDR 266mhz)
Geforce 4 TI 4200 (O/C to 280/600)
MSI KT3 Ultra-R motherboard
Western Dig Cavier 40gb 5200
Creative Audigy
Win XP
Detonator Ver 40.72 drivers
3D Mark: 8100 @ 1024x768 32bpp
I'm pretty content with that score considering my processor lets it all down a bit.
