richnsue... consider using the latest Detonator XP drivers. Upped my 3Dmark score from 5,400 to 6,900. However it causes stability issues with my CPU so I had to give up the 100Mhz overclock I had on the CPU. Runs fine now. With most games framerates are better, although the same can't be said for THPS2 for some reason... looking into that when I have the time.

Set fast-write on, AGP sideband on, make sure AGP bandwith is at 4x, disable caching and shadow and try increasing your FSB (only if you know what you're doing). Good luck.

DetonatorXP is just a name. There are detonatorXP drivers for win9x and win Me. Download them from the nvidia website.

    hi richnsue

before you update you drivers to detonatorXP version 21.83(the latest) try and get the previous version 21.82 or 21.81 not to sure what version number they are but they came out in september. when i did my 3Dmark 2001 test with the old drivers the results where 5175 when i installed the new drivers the reslts where 5095 had to bump up the core and the memory speed to get them to my fianl score 5275.

Tests were run @ 800x600 32 bit. A few of the tests did not run due to lack of hardware support. Any info to improve would be greatly appreciated.

It's all in the video card.
It's time to upgrade your video card to substantially pull yourself nearer to those kind of results, of course, cpu speed plays a role too.

So don't expect a similar outcome, resulting by only upgrading your video card.
