    Need an explanation (PCHEALTH)

What is PCSCHD.EXE (PCHEALTH)? This is one program in WinME that I don't entirely understand.

    a. what is its purpose?
    b. can it help?
    c. can I disable this from task scheduler?

all i know is that it's eating hard drive space.

    thanks in advance...

PCHealth (pchschd.exe) This is a part of Windows Millennium which provides Restore functionality. !NEEDED!
So it appears that it would be wise to leave it enabled...

I believe WinME system restore will revert your comp back to the last saved image of your comp.. so if you got a virus, you restore to 1 day before (when you didnt have it) and everything you did from 1 day eariler to now will be gone.

Scanreg only backs up the registry.
