What's this net2phone thing on my tools menu in ie

....and more importantly, how do i get rid of it

I don't like this, where did it come from, how was it installed?
(I bet it was realplayer...words can not decribe how much I hate that program, even if it didn't put net2phone)

So, umm....how can I get rid of this 'option'?

    Thanks in advance,

    Pat.

net2phone power the MSN Messenger 'Dial A Phone Number' feature. Basically it lets you hook up a microphone to your PC & call someone on their phone while you're still on the net. So it might be M$ or MSN, but equally it could be someone else.

To get rid of it...well, uninstall tends to be the first choice.

that's what i thought, but i don't remember ever installing it, and this pc has only been running for a week now!
that's why i'm thinking it could have been real player, as I haven't installed anything non-necessary except this, which has really gotten to me.
might go through the registry and see what I can find.

    Cool,

I just went through the registry, and deleted all keys containing...
    "net2phone"
    "net2fone.exe"
    "n2p" (only certain ones)

Now it is completely gone from IE, and anything else for that matter.
