    ECCP Team Members - HOT!

    I started looking through the Stats at both the ECCP Stats page and Virus's page and saw some problems!

    Jig, you have several accounts (different spellings) of your name on the ECCP page! You need to E-mail Chris and ask him to combine them all.

    Barney, you haven't Joined the team yet!

    Everyone needs to look and see if htey may have more then one name on the User Stats at ECCP and then also check to see if you are actually on the Team

    I'll try to check it out more later, time for the weekend "Honey Better Do's"

    This problem is not only in your team.

    TA also have duplicate names that are not joined to the team.
    We from DPC have it also sometimes, but if you check it regulary there is no problem.

    Randy, I joined the team the day I started with ECCP, I'm at 51 now. But thanks for the warning anyway.

    Looking for help with a problem that I first reported in this thread. Here is what I asked there:
    OK, the progy is running and crunching numbers, the info is correct in the userinfo.txt, but when I go HERE it can't find any record of my info under my e-mail addy. What's wrong? Or should I transfer this question to the Distributed Forum?
    Plus, how do I know for sure that the optimised (K7) client is running? Thanks for any help.

    Is there a green and red "E" down in the bottom right corner of your task bar? If so, double-click on it, this will open the client window.

    In the window will be a line that reads: Total Distingusted Points to be sent 0/xxxxxx

    If the 0is a number, such as 30, then you have 30 points, click on the "Send Results" button to send then.

    If you have a permanent connection to the Internet, stop the client, go to the eccp109 directory and edit your eccp109.ini file. Where it says "Permanent Connection" change the 0 to a 1 and save the file, double click on eccp109ws.exe to restart the client. Only make this change if you have a permanent connect! If no permanent connection, just open the client window once a day (more often if you want) and manually send your results.

    The Statsaholic Stats Server updates every 15 if your eccp109.ini file is configured to flush through it.

    The main ECCP stats update every 6 hours Midnight, 6AM, Noon, 6PM Eastern time USA

    Randy,
    Thanks for the reply. I have the tray icon, and I have tried to manually flush the points but it is saying "Attempting to connect...failed". Now what should I check for?

    OK, I'm sure you have an Internet connection!

    Do you go through a proxy server to get to the Internet? If so you need to configured the client to go throught the proxy.

    In the eccp109.ini file is this line:

    #PROXY=hostort

    If you use a proxy, remove the "#" sign

    remove the word host and enter the IP address of the proxy

    After the ":" remove the word port and enter the port number the proxy uses

    START_MINIMIZED=0
    PERM_CONN=0
    NO_TRAY_ICON=0
    NEED_ACK=1
    SEND_INTERVAL=hh:mm:ss
    DP_SERVER_HOST=www.statsaholic.com
    DP_SERVER_URL=http://www.statsaholic.com/eccpproxy.pl
    PROXY=host:port
    EXT_TIMING=0
    No proxy but I use a router

    TOAD6147 ,
    I don't know if you were cutting and pasting your eccp109 config file, but you should have SEND_INTERVAL and PROXY commented out with a # at the start of the line:
    ie)
    START_MINIMIZED=1
    PERM_CONN=0
    NO_TRAY_ICON=1
    NEED_ACK=1
    #SEND_INTERVAL=hh:mm:ss
    DP_SERVER_HOST=www.statsaholic.com
    DP_SERVER_URL=http://www.statsaholic.com/eccpproxy.pl
    #PROXY=hostort
    EXT_TIMING=0

    If you don't have a #, then the program might think you have a proxy, but can't connect to it.

    !!User sbjm@k2services.com added to existing team: Sysopt!!

    Thanks, jened, you got me squared away. I thought Randy said to remove ALL #'s but I didn't understand to leave those two.
    Now, again, how do I check to be sure that my client is optimised for the K7 CPU?
