Windows Media Player 7 Problem

Not so much as a problem as irritants. First, when playing audi CDs if I open the volime control teh sound is controlled by the WAV tab not the audio tab. Next, I cannot get auto insert to work with it. I insert a cD & nothing happens. I have to chose "insert an audio CD", then eject it & insert it again. Last, when playing MP3s from a CD, I cannot get it to shuffle.

Is any of this normal?

I wouldn't know if this is normal. i do have WIN media player 7 installed but use it to view avi, asf etc. files only. I use WinAmp which I find much more user friendly. Can can download for free at www.winamp.com
