Mandrake Linux PPC 8.0 final release

I see that it is optimized for the G3, but will it run on my Power Mac 7200?!?

I have tinkered with LinuxPPC on it once, but was driven back to PCs when I had some hardware issues I could not resolve.

Hardware support has definitely improved for Mandrake 8.0. I was using Mandrake 7.2 previously, and I couldn't get my sound card and printer working.

Now with Mandrake 8.0, the sound card is automatically configured, and the printer works like a charm once its drivers are installed.
