IE 5.5 SP2 has issues with QuickTime
fine by me, I hate QuickTime anyways... 
to bad for anyone who likes it tho i guess!

That was by design after MS was taken to court. The plugin IE was using had been written on Netscape code. MS no longer has the legal right to use that code, so the plugin has been removed from IE5.5 SP2 and higher.
Quictime will still work from the start menu. You can save a .mov file to disk and play it that way, or import the plugin from Netscape.

Immediately after downloading SP2 it crapped on reboot. Three days later, IE has crashed at least 5 times and sent an error report once (after restarting itself). That's worse than IE5 beta!
