Human cloning to 'start in weeks'
I think this is a good step for Science..
This is very exciting progress with technology.
I hope all goes well!

[qutoe]"Expect the same outcome in humans as in other species: late abortions, dead children and surviving but abnormal children." [/quote]
A good step for Science?
A very exciting progress of technology?
My God, What is wrong with this picture? If the prognosis is as Professor Ian Wilmut says it is, then shame be cast on all those involved in attempting to bring this to fruition prematurely. The scientists pushing for the premature experimentation brings shame on the entire scientific community. I only hope there will be such an outcry by their peers they will rethink their desire to be the first in their field at the sacrifice of the genetically mutilated offspring of the first attempts that God forbid live.

Hmmmmm......I might be wrong about this but it seems to me if they are going to start trying to clone humans in 60 or 90 days then.............that means they were already doing it behind closed doors and had to go public with it so the whistle wouldn't get blown on them. I not really suprised though , the technology is going to get used with or with out the public's or government's consent . Once pandora's box is opened ..........

Oh ya that's what we need. The hell with unwanted pregnacies.
We have the cure for that we'll make clones to over populate the Earth instead.
Unless they already know what's gonna happen to the human race and they are getting all the bugs out before the need arises <-NUCLEAR STRIKE!!!
Well I guess I'll look back to Biblical times when Mary's baby (Jesus) was made so by immaculate conception <- coincidence???
Us men would have no purpose...
We don't need you anymore Science has stepped in... All we need is some DNA and we will live on.
This is really sad.
Oh this is my opinion and it is no way the opinion of this community (Sysopt) and related members and the members of the Christian community. <- Disclaimer
Playing God geez. They are all going to hell

the reason behind cloning is not to make people. The goal behind cloning is being able to clone just a heart or liver or other vital organ instead of having to wait for another person with a good organ to die, and then risk your body rejecting the organ. If an organ is cloned from you, it will not be rejected. Now, in the wrong hands which cloning will fall into entire people may be cloned as warriors or whatever you may desire. As for premature testing...doesn't everything great start poorly and then improve? Look at computers. Was the eniac efficient? Did the Ford Model-T travel much faster than a horse? Would the internet be here today if people had never tested out what would happen when you connect 2 computers with a phone line? Would you be able to call your spouse while you're on a business trip for a month if bell had never made a phone. Phones started out with man-operated switch boards which soon became very overloaded and made calls a real hassle. The point is, if no one is willing to try something new, we would still be cold at night because of the fear of fire.
I don't know about you, but when i'm 60 or 70 i'd like to go to my doctor and just be able to get a new heart or liver without having to wait for months on life support for a donor.

If we look at how live works
we can see that it works on its own
dere is no need to change it.
It Is in a flowing Change.
To keep healthy, we need to take good care for our Body, Mind, Soul!
Things like cloning have always existed.
But never could anyone possibly make so
much Money with it.

I am pleased they are doing this and hope all goes well.
Most technolgies have the potential for good or evil-- and even that's definable.
