Jurassic Park III: How they created the dinosaurs

Discovery has been showing "When Dinosaurs Roamed America" and excerpts from "Jurassic Park III" all this week - check it out at

    Great stuff!

I heard that the head of the T-rex in the movie can 'swing around' to look behind him at over 100Mph and it uses an engine over 1000hp to do this.

    Pretty neat stuff

Building on what socalgal said, check out that show "When Dinosaurs Roamed America".. it's very cool. Also, if they come on again, I HIGHLY suggest watching the special on the Mammoth (the one in Siberia they recently found and airlifted to a frozen cave for study/preservation), and also "When Dinosaurs Roamed the Earth" (I think it's called that, anyway). The latter show received several nominations for Emmy Awards (?), and is an EXCELLENT show.

    I love the Discovery Channel...

I think it's now only available on VHS and DVD. As i recalled it was never aired as the schedule on the site indicated; 2 weeks prior to July 15 I was anxiously waiting and when the day comes there was something else inplace of the show (yes it was July 18 @ 8:00PM ET indeed)...well I did see the ad about the title but it's for sale only. Anyway I wasn't home last nite to see the repeated show - if there was any - I'll seat tight til this coming Sunday...and see if they r gonna show it.

Arrghh... How they created those Dinosaurs? That's not the most important question regarding this movie - what's more appropriate is 'How did we forget to write a movie around them?'
