An AMD 1.3 beats the hell out of a P4 1.7 in most application and business apps (games fps are another story) but Intel releasing a "budget" chip.,!!

I really think that they don't have a chance..!

Competition is good for the consumer.. from chips to cars... to airlines..... I am truely an AMD fan.. but in no way do I want AMD to blow away INTEL... I would like them to keep the lead.. I will take a while before AMD gets the average users market. Very few people know that AMD makes a faster/cheaper chip than Intel. Keep the race going guys!
