Compaq abandons Alpha
Lately, it seems that Compaq is 'abandoning' more than they can, but this is not true.
Along with the obvious market inflation of the tech industry, was an inflation of jobs, ventures, and endeavors within the company as well. Alpha is simply a marketing endeavor that, in the current industry crisis, has become an unneccessary delta of funds and manpower.
