    Fluorescent lights can send data

    Cool, I hope they can get this to work. it would help alot of people out. madfish

    I once ran a car's coil wire through a 4-foot fluorescent light, which is pretty cool looking at night, especially if you rev the engine a few times.... But it caused misfire under load -darn! -I wanted to go driving with the light on.

    Cmonster, just tape the light to a CB radio antenna and key the mike, it'll light up!

    Several years ago I read in Popular Electronics about a supermarket chain using the flicker to change the prices on the shelves. They never really caught on though.
