NVIDIA releases Detonator 3 version 12.41
Detonator 12.60 is at 3dchipset.com .
Just getting ready to install it, so i don't know how good it is.
-
Yes but the 12.x versions have been beta up until this official release. Anything after 12.41 is unofficial.
-
Does anyone know if these detonators are compatible with the TNT chipset???. Nvidia site only mentions the TNT2.
Thanks.

The Detonator drivers are compatible with all of the following cards:

Just because all Detonator 3s are compatible with the TNT doesn't mean they will work. Supposedly, there are some 7.x detonators that wouldn't work with the GF2 MX.

I can't get full screen direct draw to work with the 12.41? I've got 8.0 When I do dx diagnostic, everything checks out ok except the full screen direct draw test.Anyone else have this problem?
-
Why are they still calling it the Detonator 3? Haven't they been calling them Detonator 3 since the 6.xx? In fact, can someone explain why they are jumping from 6.xx, to 7.xx, then to 10.xx, 11.xx, and now 12.xx, but it's still called Detonator 3?

So has anyone installed 12.41 and see performance increase with Geforce 2 GTS cards over 11.x Detonator drivers?
-
Ok, I installed 12.41 and did a benchmark on 3DMark 2001 and noticed ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in performance from 10.80 on my Geforce 2 GTS 64MB DDR.
