    4000MIPS
    2600Mflops

Anybody know why my MIPS score is 1400 BELOW where it should be?

SiSoft Sandra says it should be 5400 for a dual CPU PIII 1Ghz. This is running with 512meg of CAS2 RAM on an ABIT VP6 dual FCPGA board, VIA Apollo PRO chipset (I think!)....

Any help appreciated, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over why a synthetic benchmark is underscoring one of my PC's.

Bob -- Your 3dmark score is pretty low! Are you sure you wrote all the numbers??

Okay, I played around with the memroy settings, etc... realised the board was setup like *not that well*.... as per usual I went completely OTT, made it severely unstable and then back to stable settings.

    Now getting:

    5150MIPS
    2650Mflops

MIPS still below where it should be, but getting better, back to the tweaking... any suggestions? And I'm NOT OC'ing them, just looking for memory/system tweaks? I only OC once the CPU is ready to be replaced... although those Tualatins are looking nice if ONLY I could find a couple!!!!

Eagle1. That's just my CPU score in 3dmark 2000. I'm getting 5038 in the actual test of my system.

We have an Overclocking Database available for posting. Hope you can place these figures there too.

The scores will go in the OC'ing database once I'm getting slightly closer to where I should be... might OC too, just to REALLY mess things up... n e body know how dual Tualatin 1.2Ghz are doing in this? I'm gonna get one of those systems once my supplier has them on the price database.... still at dual 560Mhz for my main workstation though... these are purely number-crunching PC's with MAtrox G450's in them, so 3Dmark scores would be low...
