It also depends on whether your using 16bit or 32bit color. FSAA on or off, anti-aliasing, screen resolution, etc. Whether your graphics properties are set up for graphics quality, speed, or a combination of both.
You'll mainly notice the difference in 3dmarks with the speed.
I keep my GeForce3 set for a combination of graphics quality and speed with anti-aliasing set at Quincunx.
Haven't run any benches on it with this setting though.

3dmark2001 and geforce3
i read some reviews and learn that the normal score for a geforce3 in 3dmark2001 is around 5600-5800 3dmarks, but i am getting on my computer only 4987 3dmarks, why is that? anyone has any idea why i would get a so slow score?
my system is:
amd athlon tbird 1.3ghz (200mhz bus)
512mb pc133 sdram
wd 40gb hd 7200rpm ata100
pny verto geforce3 graphics card
can anyone help?
