    No you can't! It's not what you think. 3DMark 2001 doesn't use the 2nd CPU so it's basically the same as a single P3 935Mhz... My T-Bird @ 1.4Ghz will score much higher for 3DMark 2001 than my dual P3 @ 935Mhz. My score for 3Dmark 2001 with the dual P3 935Mhz with GTS 64MB scores about 3020 and the T-Bird @ 1.4Ghz with GTS Pro 64MB scores about 4300...

But as for all around performance other than 3D benchmarks for games, the dually runs MUCH better than the T-Bird.

Ah, I didn't know that. That explains why our Dell dual 800 Pentum III PC at work scores around 2000. Learn something new everyday.....

Well, I had a reference P4 1.5 GHz one my desk for several weeks, so I guess I get to count it. Here ya' go:

    SiSoft Memory: 1337/1323 MB/s
    Quake 3 "Fastest": 190+ FPS

I now have a Thunderbird 1200 in my high-end box, but I believe we've already seen plenty of Athlon numbers.
