    AGP 4x vs AGP 2x in Unreal

    AGP 4x is noticably faster than AGP 2x in the Unreal flyby timedemo 1. These are the average frame rates in the flyby tested on a Athlon 1333/KK266/32MB Geforce DDR:

    1024x758 32bit D3D
    AGP 4x Fast Writes on: 47fps
    AGP 2x Fast Writes on: 35fps

    Actually that was usefull, in a number of other posts people said there is no real difference any more between 4X and 2X due to the fact that cards don't need to use main memory as much as they used to. Of course with a 64mb DDR card there'd be a much smaller difference.
