    Performance Test

Has any one here used Passmarks Performance Test? I liked it, but I wanted some more opinions on how acurate it is. I have a feeling it doesn't test your PC as hard as it should.

    What do you think?

    BTW I got a PassMark rating of 104 on a p-3 600EB 192MBs pc-100 mem @pc-133 GeForce DDR.

I would have posted a link, but I didn't have one. The really annoying thing is you have to register it after ten days

    PIII 866, MS-6337, Eagle Geforce2MX, SBlive, 256MB, Win98SE, vid res 1152x864x32.
Tests done at benchmarks default install settings.
    PassMark 146.9
    3dmarks2001 2212
Using 12.60 nvidia driver. (gave small increase over 12.41).
It doesnt look as flash as the 3dMarks but it gives a good run down of each area it is checking. I guess the real value of any benchmark utility is how wide spread it is. I like using Q3 fps check because a lot of pc mags use it which allows me to relate to the type of increases I may or may not expect. I liked the passmarks for its small size.
