What do you think of my site?

    Hi Guys,

I've started my own web design company and would like you to have a look at my site and tell me what you think?

    Cheers!

    Very nice slick site.

    The menu...
Is it meant to have text labels, or are you appealing to a mainly psychic market?
    Im not seeing any text.
    Opera 5 / Linux

Edit, switched javascipt on. I see text now Very nice.

Yes, it needs JavaScript for the menu functions to work.

Everything else is ASP based so its done server-side.

    Thanks for your input!

I would rather see navigation buttons and not a hint as to where to start. Is the home page the only one operational? I didn't see anything on the other pages.

I like the graphics. Is that your hand on the keyboard wahrez?

fshanda... there are subsequent pages, so from what you said I deduced there was a problem with Netscape, which I have now fixed!

I understand what you mean by Navigation buttons, as a technical person I couldn't agree more, but sometimes I have to think like a designer too!

No its not my hand, its a photo I purchased from gettyone.com!

Looks pretty cool, loads fast, took a sec on the navigation method as the empty boxes till you hover over them was odd, I use a 19" mon at 1024x768 and I see lots of black background with little teeny writing on it, font could be larger in otherwords, but all in all looks real good...

I notice twistedthread, artistsonline and worldinternetforum has a similar design with the little font and background choice, the links for the rest of the pages you have done arnt activated, are they designed differently?

Ah much better. Very nice clean profesional site. I can appreciate your need to design.

I was using IE5 but whatever you changed did the job.

My wife is studying web design, flash and photoshop in school so I am constantly being asked for my opinion about her designs. I just have to be a little more careful with my opinions about her designs.

in the navigation system. there is always a "menu" and then a blinking arrow after it, so you can find out where to start, right? well after you mouse-over one of the buttons, that little hint goes away untill you reload the page as i see it. anyway, should a person accudently mouse over that without realizing, and having never visited your site, or that indiviule page, be lost becuase the little "hint" has now dissapeared before they even saw it. it's a long shot for someone getting lost like that, but i think it shoould be simple enought to do something about that, just incase.

If someone doesn't have the brains to realize that is the menu, they probably don't have the brains to even click on a link to that site, so I don't think there is a need to worry, lol

Pretty slick...not too graphics intensive. That's good for us schleps who are still stuck with dialup. Good job!

You should be able to access all the pages in their completed state.
