    Samsung DVD-709

I bought the above DVD player in London and have since returned to Australia. Unfortunately I can't play Australian DVDs in my machine, but I believe there is a setting which can be changed so that the DVD player can play DVDs from all regions. Can anyone help here?

The samsung 709 is region locked there is 2 ways of changing it to aussie instead of uk.

1: have a chip inserted into the dvd which will prevent the dvd region chip from working - there play all regions.

2: enter a code on the remote to disabled the chip. Not too sure on the code but i know on some AIWA hifi's the remote will work and disable the region with the code 185.
