CD-RW not recognized

I can't seem to get my CD-RW recognized. It says that I have no CD-RW but I can see it as a choice of destination drives. I'm running Nero 5.5 for a NEC NR_7700A. I have the CD-RW as the secondary master and a Delta 12x/40x DVD-Rom drive as the slave. I have tried to locate drivers for it and have come up blank. Help please!

Try using other recording program, like easy cd creator. I can't get nero to recognize my philips cdrw either though it's in the compability list.
