    Burner Software

I put a Creative 12x10x32 burner in my new 'puter and was wondering what everyone's preferences were toward the burning software. It came with software from NTI and I have used Roxio's EZ-CD Creator. What does everyone use/prefer and why? Thanks,

    Jeff

Nero works great never had any problems with it. It came with my burner. I use CloneCd for those hard to copy CDs. It can burn copys of some protected CDs. Great to use for backing up games.

Nero is great if it works, easy cd is what it says, easy, and imho, quite effective nowadays. Roxio has the directcd (more widely spread than aheads incd), use both if you wish, it's not big space anyways. Neros cheap b t w =)

I use Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.02 since it's easy as the name says. And I also use CloneCD and Padus Disk Juggler for CD to CD copies...

Everything works good with NTI. It's easy to do just about anything. I copied one cd directly and created a music cd from mp3 files. I'm happy with it. I really don't see a need for easy cd creator or nero. CloneCD will still come in handy to burn stubborn discs. Thanks,

    Jeff

Can you have both Nero and EZ CD Creator on your system at the same time? I know when you install "Nero" it tells you to first remove EZ CD Creator. Is this necessary?

Why don't you try the NTI that came with it? I've used itand it seems to work quite well. Nero is nice but I haven't seen any advantage with the creative drive.

I'm using NTI CDmaker 2000 (very recently), Easy CD Creator 4 (came with burner), and CD Clone.
I like them all, except gotta figure out why CD creator 4 and CD Clone cause coasters on a burn-proof 12x10x32 Lite-on burner, using a 52x cdrom.
