HELP!!! Need to make a backup of a CD.

I need HELP. I have a software CD that it shown only 617MB in size. However, when I use EZ CD Creator to create an image, it said that the size is 800+MB and it wo'nt let me create any image.

I download CloneCD Ver 3.0.5.2???. It allows me to duplicate the disk. However, when I test the disk, It gaves me errors about some of the files it cannot read. When I checked the CD size, it only has 589MB instead of 619MB. I use both the 650MB blank CD and 700MB blank CD to test but all failed to read a certain file.

Is there any software that can take care of this problem?

    Thanks

Are you using a CD-ROM as your "source" drive.

If so, switch to the Burner for Source and see if that helps.

Which CD are you trying to make a backup of? Many/most software disks have anti-copy scheme's that require special backup techniques to be used to get a working copy

Yes, many copyright protections do exactly what you are specifying. You can make backups of items you already own though. I use Nero, CloneCD but others can be found at www.gamecopyworld.com

    Good luck
