    can i make my own vcd's?

    just purchased a new burner and i was just wondering if i can make my own vcd's that will play on my stand alone vcd player (not in the computer). what software do i need?

    VCDGalaxy is a software that brother uses, as well as Nero to make/convert his VCDs from either his TV Tuner, from rental DVDs, or from digital pictures that we took over the summer and send them to relatives.

    Its really neat and fun to do

    Just be certain that your stand-alone player can play cdr/w's.
    Yeah, vcdgalaxy has a combo rip-encode-pack (quite easy to use the newest version (2.6) with few steps only to do). Try that.
