    ATA 100 --WIN2K

    The request is incorrectly formatted for \Device\Ide\IntelAta0.

    wtf? nothing new has been installed. i know ms had a fix with the ata100 awhile back and don't know if this conflicts with the sp2 but its driving me nuts

    You appear to already be aware of MS's known issues with Win2K and ATA100.

    Support for ATA 100 (Mode 5 ) in Windows 2000
