    Hard Drive Headache

I own a western digital 2.5 gig hard drive and it has the "click of death". If anyone knows how to fix it, I would appreciate it if they would post it!

Just a few questions for ya

by click of death are you referring to the drive making clicking noises rapidly every few seconds?

    also does the drive detect?

I would say that if the drive is making rapid click noise and not functioning properly you will probely have to get a new harddrive as this usually indicates the drive is shot. You could try testing the drive in another computer if you had one handy.
