Boot from FireWire HDD on Win98SE?

Does anyone know if you can make an external FireWire HDD bootable with Windows 98 SE? If so, how?
Just received a new 60GB drive as a gift and it's up & running like a champ, but I'd like to use it as my C: drive as opposed to just file storage.
This is my first foray into the FireWire arena, so I'm kinda short on information.
    Any help is appreciated.

I don't think this will be possible for some time. It will need to be configured into the bios somehow. I could be way off so let us know if you find a way.
