well i was making backup cds of my pc games. i copied a game called zeus, with the cdr-w installed in this computer (its the only cdrom is has)

anyway, everything went fine but when i opened the game to test it, it got to the main screen with the options play and quit, i clicked play and nothing happened, it just closed. i tried on two computers and the cd doesnt work on either. any ideas? oh yeah i made the cd with adaptec easy cd creater 4- copy cd program. i dont want to use another cdr is i can do something with this cd. thanks

Well, I think there could be possibly two reasons for that...

    1) It was a bad burn

    2) The game is copy protected

Another thing I'd like to add is that, Adaptec EZCD isn't a very good burning program for burning protected CD's because it lacks burning options.

Yea i think that programs' pretty bad
I think it might have just been the burn, well at least i hope so. I like that game.

Try it again. I've had bad luck with the NFS series of games. They don't copy because of the protection

CloneCD If it supports your burner should burn it.

Most likely the game is protected...There are
quite a few types of protection and as of
the Roxio 5.0 (Adaptec Easy CD) version, it
still doesn't do it. The CD will usually burn
or appear to burn, but hidden (necessary) files are not copied. Clone CD is your best
bet...Disc Juggler and Disk Dupe will work
on some. Clone CD has the capability of doing
a Raw, Byte by Byte exact copy of the original.
