    Upgrading the Forum Software

I will be switching to Vbulletin tonight. I'll leave the forums up for you to browse, but you won't be able to post replies or new posts. Once the new forum is up and running, you can reach it via the regular forum link (it will redirect). No need to re-register, I am importing 500,000 posts, 80,000 threads, and 21,000+ users into the new software. Just FYI!

Too many things to list - lots of great new features. But the forums will look the same.

I am confused about how the new posts are neing listed... I made a new post and was slammed into the middle of the page. Am I retarded or is something wrong?

Scott's working on the time bug now..

I suppose we can expect a bug or two implementing such big changes, I'm sure it will be corrected soon.

If you do notice something buggy, please post it here or email Scott. Thanks

Looking great! It's going to take some getting use to, though.

I've noticed that a lot of members' rankings are messed up. For example, Warthog is now a member, and someone with ~160 posts is a Senior Member.

Also, some of the threads that were here before the upgrade are all out of order. Probably related to the "time problem" Socal mentioned earlier.

Looks pretty good to me, although it is going to take some getting used to. I had just "mastered" UBB code!!

~Edit: Just noticed that the posts here in Community are counting toward rankings. Notice I edited to keep my integrity intact.

~Second edit...now I'm a Senior Member!! I'm liking this new software more and more!!

~Third edit...back to plain ol' "Member". Also, I'm sure you've noticed, but when a new reply is posted, the thread doesn't get bumped to the top.
