What a Shock! My CD was empty!

Kewl! I think,(?) I'm such a Freak! the guy in the music department and the guy at the checkout remembers me! I can return it without the receipt (and I had on relatively normal clothes last night) Maybe it's something positive to say about treating everyone I interact with as though I've known them for years.

I bought a copy of CD creator 5 from Bestbuy and it was empty. They took it back too.

Hey I bought a 10 pack of cd-r at Office Depot. The first one out of the sealed pack would not burn. It kept telling me it was not a recordable disk. After I burnt the second one I decided to go back and check out the first one. It was a audio cd that was full to the brim with rap music, and it was actually offending to me because every track was "shoot whitie ,kill whitey do something to whitie". When I took the pack back they gave me another pack that was ok. He said(the Manager) that when the get them back they send them in and they are repackaged and then sold again and that they must have mised this one. Do you think?

A similar thing happened to me.
My wife bought me a CD for Christmas, one of those places where you take the case to the counter and they get the Cd and put it in. Come the 25th I open it, wrong CD, after Christmas we take it back, they dont have any more copies of the CD, but 'we will get you one!' Well as usual for me I forget all about it, 'till one day, months later, I find the (now empty) case, so off I go, believe it or not they have a copy and have no problem letting me have it (I must have an honest face)

I agree, I don't think you will have a problem. I bought the Led Zeppelin, Remasters box set, and it was missing one of the CDs.Although they didn't have anymore, he said he would order it, and called me to let me know when it came in He said it happens every once in a while.

I bought a cd last night, ok maybe not real mainstream but I opened it and it was EMPTY!
Has this ever happened to anyone?
I mean it was sealed shut! I got it at Boarders, they will never believe me and my money is gone

I have never bought a CD with nothing in it but I have bought a Nirvana CD long a ago that had 2 cd's in it which leads me to believe that someone bought one without the CD in it.

I got a 10-pack of TDK 650mb CDR's and one of them had a cracked version of Office2000 PRO, took it back and the guy gave me 2 10-packs of 80min Though that was cool. Even let me keep the rest of the 650mb pack.
