    My turn eh?

    John/USA Pa./24

Work on cars/build homes/ residential wireing and small electronics repair.

First repaired chainsaw at 10 years old.
First pc experience also 10. Worked with the "Tandy" and IBM 286 and 386.
First rebuilt v8 truck engine (Ford)16 years old "and its still running"
First built pc at 19-5 years ago.

Like pc's and more so into the architectures of cpu and mem. Like to know how it works right down to the nuts and bolts so to speak. Past jobs ranged form building new HQ's and Lowes stores to home building in factory (modular 2 and 3 story) also auto repair on the side and small electronic repairs (vcr's/dvd's/cd players/amps). I also custom build my own guitar effects from electronic schematics (noise gate/flange/distortion etc) I started that back in my 8th grade days and flew right through electronics in high school.I am currently between jobs but am takeing the A+ course for pc repair job here at home, got lots of people waiting for me to be finished (I'm the local Pc Guro in my little town). Thinking of starting into the "server" field aswell but the stuff to learn ! Love challenges and even better beating them!

Is anybody still reading this? Ok.

I got fired today, so now I play computer games. (I was an hour & ½ late)
I'm part of the generation that grew up with PCs in their homes. I've had 11 of my own, since i was 8ish.

    I wish I was a professinal gamer..........

Tim/formerly of England (Norfolk), Montreal (Canada), Toronto (Canada), Akita (Japan) and now Mississauga (Canada). I always seem to be able to stay one step ahead of the law!

I'm 33, but I often act like I'm 10, which technically makes me the youngest member.

I'm a former mechanic who became an English/Philosophy major and is now a technical manager. I've had a computer since I was 10 (which could mean now or 23 years ago).

Nice to know you all. Sysopt is good brain exercise.
