I for one have found the recent commercials by companies annoying. You know, the one were they constantly pimp out the internet. My favorite are the one by compaq were it has a 6 year old kid operating webcam software, and the AOL 6.0 commercial which rambles on and on about god only knows. "e-commerce" commercials are also irratating, when will people stop relying on technology for every little single thing??? People should at least tell the truth. AOL claims your safe online and your personal info is safe, so people assume that AOL is telling the truth!! safe?! I dropped some idiot the other day when he chain mailed me a picture of a dead baby (is that what you want your kids to see?), I only use AOL to check my mail and I can't even have that satisfaction without spam or idiocy every day! The (most) members are incompetent, I used to gag people if they went into a computer room and started acting like an idiot. I can go on and on, but Im just ranting about this. 80% of all TV are these "e-commercials".
PS- Please no more temrs like "e-commerce", "i-solutions", and all of that .
I ignore it all. Most of the only GOOD commercials are Beer commercials.
I do have to admit I like those ad for hotjobs.com. (I think it was them) They had a bunch of sperm swimming around till one got into the egg. The tagline was "Remember the determination it took to get you here. Use that same determination to get you somewhere." Hotjobs.com...
I dug it...
What really, really drives me nuts is the commercials that make absolutely correalation at all as to what the company is selling.
made up example:
Commercial shows flowing meadows with kids running around and a rainbow in the background. It lasts about 30-40 seconds. At the end the company's name appears and says "********, making the internet go faster."
THAT pisses me off.
ya, like that Cisco powerered network commercial. There was this kid and her mom on a swing, then it flashed to this babe on the beach, then it flashed to a kitchen where some italian guy was cooking (who knows what, there was no steam ANYWHERE ) and then you saw a computer, then the motto, empowering the internet", and finally, in small print, "Cisco Systems" GIVE ME A BREAAAAK
