    Did you ever push the CPU past it's Manufactures speed ? or have you just biult are faster beast, after visiting this site for so long you will now be one of the helpers for some one new, as I never read the original post before ( must have missed it, Good on ya Sysopt.

    I never did either! I am still on my lowly Compaq AMD-K6 233. Although, thanks to Ultima, I will be building a P!!! 450!

    All CXT core K6-2 processors and all K6-III processors will interpret a 2x multiplier as 6x.
    CXT core = K6/2-400 or greater
